Introduction

Brimming with original character, modern amenities and plenty of space, this rural cottage is the perfect base for your countryside getaway. Only a couple of miles from village life including a popular pub, spend days exploring the countryside and post card perfect villages and towns that dot the landscape. The central location gives you easy access to the North Norfolk coast and the city of Norwich.

There is a music festival at the farm every August Bank holiday and guests receive free tickets.

Inside

Step inside to a spacious open plan kitchen-dining space, warm cold hands by the aga as you settle around the farmhouse table with cake and a cuppa with the gang. In summer fling open the lounge French doors bringing the outside in, or in winter gather around the log burner for card games and a glass of something red. Head upstairs to one of the three quaint bedrooms, soaking up the panoramic views and sounds of country life. After a fun filled day enjoy a long soak in the master bedrooms roll top bath, by the roaring log burner underneath Norfolk’s famous big skies.

Outside

Nestled in a working farm with woodland views, Shepherds Cottage has a fully enclosed garden flooded with sunlight, ideal for epic afternoon BBQs, a glass of your favourite tipple in hand while the kids play tag and the gentle hum of farm life the sound track to your summer.

To the front of the property there is a gravelled area and parking for up to 4 cars.

Relax in the comfortable spacious sitting room, with original exposed beams and brickwork and beautiful soft furnishings. There is a roaring wood burning fire where you can relax and watch your favourite movie on the smart TV.

There is a stunning country cottage kitchen dining room which is extremely well equipped for the discerning chef.

The kitchen boasts an electric four oven and 5 ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a dreamy king size bed, a stunning free standing bath and a cosy wood burner to relax in front of on a chilly day. There is a WC and basin in a jack and Jill bathroom between bedrooms 1 & 2.

There are 2 further bedrooms on floors 2 and 3 one with twin beds and one with a double bed. Both of these bedrooms have the most wonderful views.

Gressenhall, is a very picturesque village with a friendly community owned pub serving tasty home cooked food. The nearby village of Brisley which lies between the Norfolk coast and the City of Norwich offers a traditional country inn with award winning food and fine wines. The location is perfect, to get away from it all. Wonderful walks enjoying nature or a day out to the coast or to the City of Norwich.
