Introduction

Once a traditional cattle shed, now reimagined into a spacious country hideaway, where rustic heritage and modern comfort sit effortlessly side by side. Original features are celebrated, think exposed beams and soaring vaulted ceilings bringing a sense of character, light and openness throughout. It’s time to gather the gang and retreat to the countryside for a week or two of pure escapism.

Inside

Light, bright yet cosy and warm, inside Archie’s Barn shines whatever the season. Fling open the doors in summer letting in the heady scent of freshly cut grass. In winter snuggle for movie marathons and board games by the wood burner and spend evenings together - laughter and good food after a day exploring the Norfolk countryside and beyond. It’s a space designed for easy living, where generous proportions and thoughtful details create an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and welcoming for all the family.

Outside

You’ll find a wonderful sense of space outdoors, made for days spent in the fresh air. A large south-facing courtyard sits just off the kitchen, perfectly placed for long, leisurely meals, with the barbecue ready for summer evenings that drift gently into dusk.
Beyond, wide lawns and open countryside invite both play and pause, whether its children running freely, a picnic on the grass, or simply a quiet moment soaking in the stillness. Wildlife is part of everyday life, with deer, hares and even barn owls occasionally passing by, adding to the feeling of being truly immersed in nature. As night falls, the absence of light pollution reveals vast, star-studded skies, a quiet reminder of just how far you’ve stepped away from the everyday.

There is private parking available at the property.

Quick guide to your location

Weston Longville is a peaceful Norfolk village set in the heart of the countryside, offering a truly relaxed rural escape while still being within easy reach of both the North Norfolk coast and the city of Norwich.

Surrounded by open fields and quiet lanes, it’s an ideal location for those looking to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of Norfolk. Walking and cycling routes begin right from your doorstep, with scenic countryside stretching in every direction - perfect for morning strolls or longer days outdoors.

For days out, ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure (https://www.roarrdinosauradventure.co.uk) is just a short drive away and ideal for families, with outdoor play, trails and activities to keep all ages entertained. Nearby, the market town of Reepham offers independent shops, cafés and bakeries, as well as places to eat including The Dial House (https://www.thedialhousereepham.co.uk). For a traditional pub setting, The Honingham Buck (https://thehoninghambuck.co.uk) is a popular choice for seasonal food and relaxed dining.

A little further afield, Norwich provides a vibrant contrast to village life. Explore historic streets, Norwich Cathedral, boutique shopping in the Lanes and a wide range of restaurants and cultural attractions.

In the other direction, the North Norfolk coast is within easy reach, with beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham and Blakeney offering wide sands, coastal walks and wildlife experiences.

Whether you’re looking for countryside tranquillity, family-friendly days out or easy access to both coast and city, Weston Longville offers a perfectly placed base for your Simply Norfolk Stays escape.
