Room Descriptions

Entrance/ Dining Room

This elegant dining space exudes timeless charm and country-house sophistication. At its heart, a long wooden dining table seating 12 guests, framed by classic high-back chairs and positioned beneath a striking overhead skylight that floods the room with natural light.

Traditional floral wallpaper in rich green tones wraps the space in warmth, complemented by golden drapes and period-style artwork that enhance the cottage’s heritage character. French doors at the far end open out to the garden, inviting the outdoors in, while polished wooden floors and a vibrant Persian-style rug add warmth and texture underfoot.

Kitchen

This charming country kitchen blends traditional craftsmanship with welcoming elegance. Warm oak cabinetry lines the walls, offering a wealth of storage and timeless appeal, and a double cooker create a striking focal point beneath a bespoke timber mantle. The kitchen also includes a Senseo coffee machine and dishwasher.

High vaulted ceilings enhance the sense of space, while floral blue-and-white wallpaper and classic drapery bring a soft, homely touch. Natural light pours in through a generous skylight and French doors, which open out to a paved terrace - ideal for morning coffee or summer suppers al fresco.

At the centre of the room, a round wooden table is surrounded by plush, tartan-upholstered chairs, making this a cosy yet stylish spot for informal breakfasts or relaxed family meals. This is a kitchen made for both cooking and connection - a space where guests can gather, unwind, and feel instantly at home.

Utility Room

Adjoining the kitchen you'll find a useful utility room with under counter fridge and freezer, ample storage and work top space along side a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Sitting Room

This elegant lounge features vaulted ceilings, built-in bookshelves, and a grand stone fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staying at
Park Cottage at Sedgeford Hall Estate

Quick guide to your location

Set within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Sedgeford offers a timeless landscape of sweeping beaches, wild coastal reserves, and characterful market towns waiting to be explored. Just a short drive away, the golden sands of Hunstanton beckon with their dramatic red and white cliffs, while the vast, untouched stretches of Holme and Brancaster provide the perfect setting for windswept walks and moments of quiet reflection.

History is woven into the fabric of the area — from the regal grounds of the Sandringham Estate, beloved by the Royal Family, to the haunting medieval remains of Castle Rising. The historic port town of King’s Lynn, with its cobbled lanes and elegant Georgian architecture, offers a glimpse into Norfolk’s rich maritime past.

For nature lovers, nearby RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell Marsh promise unforgettable birdwatching experiences, while a boat trip from Blakeney reveals the playful grey seals and nesting seabirds that call this stretch of coastline home.

Charming local villages such as Burnham Market, Holt, and Wells-next-the-Sea offer a slower pace, where independent boutiques, galleries, and traditional Norfolk pubs provide the perfect excuse to linger a little longer.
