The Folly
Ingoldisthorpe, Norfolk, UK
Introduction
Dating back to 1745 The Folly was originally built as a small cottage and stables for those journeying from afar by horse and carriage. It was extended in 1820 in the architectural style of a ‘Folly’ with towers and castellations. This style was popular at the time and was principally aimed at showing off to the neighbours! Now a quirky, classically decorated and comfortable period property set in acres of simply stunning grounds.
The Folly is a truly unique property, the perfect place to step back in time to relax and unwind with easy access to all the Norfolk coast has to offer. With award-winning Michelin star restaurants in nearby Snettisham to simple beach picnic provisions. Take a stroll along miles of white sandy beaches, wonder at the vast blue skies and stunning Norfolk sunsets.

It is a truly special scene, looking out you feel like you are in the treetops with far reaching west facing views out to sea at Snettisham on the horizon.
