Norfolk Bucket List – February Festivities

Share

Small dinner tables are set up with glasses and plates, with a burning candle on each table.

What to do in Norfolk in March

The start of spring is almost here! February in Norfolk is bursting with signs of early spring, seasonal flavours and a sense of new beginnings. From enchanting snowdrop displays and live lambing, to flourishing farmers markets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Walsingham Abbey Snowdrops

26th January – 1st March 2026

Experience the beauty of late winter with a magical snowdrop walk around Walsingham Abbey. Each year carpets of snowdrops emerge in and around the ruins of this medieval priory, which bloom until early March and are at their peak in mid-February.

Meander through the serene gardens and quiet woodlands, sip coffee from your flask, and take in the season’s first promise of spring.

Sheringham Coastal Walk

Wander past chalk cliffs, iconic pebble beaches, and soak in the big sea views – all linked by a classic coastal path that feels especially dramatic under winter skies.

Whether you’re looking for something short and scenic, or an all-day-long adventure that might leave your knees sore, but your heart full, Sheringham Coastal Walks need to be the top of your list.

Sunday Roast on the Coast

Sundays are for roasts done right – and nowhere does comfort food with a view better than the North Norfolk coast. Crispy potatoes, towering Yorkshires, generous lashings of gravy and a crisp coastal walk to earn your pudding after.

From cosy pubs with roaring fires like The Hero in Burnham Overy Staithe, to sun-drenched Marshside conservatories at The White Horse Brancaster – just don’t forget to book ahead, there’s a reason these tables fill fast.

Winter Bird Watching at RSPB Titchwell Marsh

Pack your binoculars, wrap up warm and experience the magic of sea birds in their winter home at RSPB Titchwell Marsh. From winter-plumaged divers disappearing beneath the waves, to Snow Bunting searching for seed along beach wracklines, winter bird watching along the Norfolk coast is not to be missed.

White Horse Holme Supper Club

Wednesday 11th February 2026

Once a month on a Wednesday evening, the team at White Horse Holme reimagine their much-loved artisan bakery as an intimate candlelit supper club.

Expect beautifully crafted local dishes, thoughtful pairings and a vibrant atmosphere – the kind of evening that ligers long after the last course and has you planning your return before you’ve even left the table.
