NORFOLK RESTAURANT WEEK

Share

4th – 8th & 11th – 15th November 2024

There are so many reasons we look forward to Autumn in Norfolk, the golden hues that paint the landscape and the famous candy floss pink sunsets but high on the list is Norfolk Restaurant Week. Norfolk is renowned for its foodie scene, its rich agricultural heritage, its proximity to the North Sea and abundance of delicious producers and suppliers.  November gives you the opportunity, or perhaps excuse to dine out every day with over 60 restaurants from across Norfolk participating.  Choose from a two or three course menu with options from only £18pp.  We’ve picked a few of our favourite hangouts, or you can check out the full list here.

The White Horse

An award winning and popular pub perfectly balancing delicious, tasty local fair – the seafood dishes are a must – with stunning views of the Marsh.  Grab a cosy corner in the bar or head into the restaurant for the breathtaking panoramic views out to sea.  As you’d expect their Restaurant Week menus are packed with fresh, local ingredients, we’re talking Brancaster Mussels, Staithe Smokehouse Salmon and Norfolk forged wild mushroom tart.

The Dabbling Duck

Cosy and quintessential, the Dabbling Duck celebrates local seasonal ingredients, and their special Restaurant Week menu doesn’t disappoint. From Norfolk pigeon breast with oxidised pumpkin seed puree, house smoked sea trout and Raynham Estate Aberdeen Angus beef burger to Binham blue cheese with treacle tart and Norfolk rum baba.

The Wiveton BelL

Just a mile from Blakeney you’ll find The Wiveton Bell, a chocolate box coastal pub that has it all, great food, great interiors and great views. Showcasing the very best produce from their doorstep you’ll find tasty dishes including Houghton Hall venison ragu, whipped polenta, parmesan and kale and Gin cured trout, celeriac remoulade and sticky toffee pudding with pecans and salted caramel ice cream.

The Pigs

Relaxed, cosy, traditional yet contemporary The Pigs is a proudly British pub that will have you settling in for an evening of drinking and eating.  On the menu you’ll find corned beef fritter with fried egg and Branston pickle puree, pan fried cod with smoked haddock and mussel chowder and apple and rhubarb crumble with proper custard.

The Kings Head

Award winning and just a stone’s throw from the quaint market town of Holt The Kings Head combines a contemporary dining experience with classic delicious dishes packed with flavour and local ingredients.  For Restaurant Week expect to see dishes such as Chalk stream trout pate, local game casserole with tarragon dumplings and pork steak with a Norfolk Adder cider jus.
