With views as soul-stirring as the ones found along our stretch of coast, there can only be one way to start the day and that’s with a perfectly brewed coffee. A flat white made on the back of a bike as you gaze across the still waters of Burnham Overy Staithe, a delicious latte amongst freshly baked patisserie, a cappuccino amongst a circular lookout before exploring the sands of Holkham – there’s a lot Norfolk does better than anywhere, and coffee with a view is one of them.

White Horse Bakery, Holme-Next-The-Sea
If you’re looking for a coffee stop done different, White Horse Bakery is hard to beat. Tucked just off the pub in Holme-next-the-Sea in a beautifully converted 19th century stone barn, this award-winning was recently a finalist in the Good Food Guide’s 50 Best Bakeries 2026.
Famous for its artisan bread, Viennoiserie and proper coffee, it’s a picture-perfect spot to stop and enjoy your morning brew, or take yours to go and wander to Holme’s endless golden sands and dunes for coffee with a view.
Norfolk Coffee Pedlar, Burnham Overy Staithe
Tucked down by the harbour at Burnham Overy Staithe, served from the back of a Pedlar in a beautiful, locally sculpted ceramic mug, your morning coffee doesn’t get much more unique than this! Picture boats bobbing gently in the harbour, the sounds of seabirds calling as your morning song, the sea lavender dancing in the breeze and a lovingly-crafted artisan coffee in hand – utter perfection!
With expertly brewed coffee, delicious homemade cakes and unbeatable coastal views, this locally-loved North Norfolk gem is not to be missed. Please note that the Norfolk Coffee Pedlar does not operate all year round and typically runs from mid-March to early September.
Folks Coffee Co., Blakeney, Heydon & Holt
Tucked away amongst pretty coastal cobbled streets and market town alleys, Folks Coffee Co. has quickly grown into a locally-loved household name in North Norfolk.
All about the community, Folks aim to champion local produce and create a beautiful space for guests to connect, unwind and experience great coffee.
The Barn Café, North Creake
Surrounded by a plethora of independent shops at the locally-loved Creake Abbey, The Barn Café is beautifully decorated by the team at Kelling Home, a bright and colourful homeware store which shares the barn space next door.

The Old Store, Snettisham, Fring & Thornham
For coffee with seriously good bread and brunch on the side, The Old Store is hard to beat. Recently named as one of Britain’s 50 Best Bakeries by the Good Food Guide, this award-winning microbakery and coffee shop was born from a love of baking and has quickly become one of Norfolk’s favourite brunch spots.

Ground, Wells-Next-The-Sea
Right in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea high street, Ground is the perfect spot for a coffee in the sunshine, watching the world go by. Expect locally roasted coffee, a botanical, rustic setting and a tempting selection of cakes.
