Room Descriptions

Kitchen and Dining Room

The open-plan kitchen and dining space has been thoughtfully designed with family gatherings and entertaining in mind. At its heart sits a large farmhouse table, surrounded by traditional wooden seating, with generous windows bringing in plenty of natural light and views across the garden.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with an American-style fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, kettle and plenty of oven space. You’ll also find a Magimix, baking equipment and a thoughtfully stocked selection of spices, sauces, teas and coffees. A wall-mounted Smart TV in the dining area adds an extra touch for relaxed mornings and family mealtimes.

Formal Dining Room

The formal dining room offers a more traditional setting for evening meals and special occasions. A large dining table is framed by an ornate fireplace and antique-style mirror, with botanical details, patterned fabrics and warm lighting adding to the room’s distinctive style.

Sitting Room

A cosy, book-filled sitting room with floor-to-ceiling shelving, deep sofas and armchairs gathered around a grand open fireplace. Paintings, patterned fabrics and collected decorative pieces give the room plenty of personality, making it an easy place to settle down with a book or spend a quiet evening.

Drawing Room

The drawing room provides another generous space for everyone to come together. Sofas and armchairs sit around the fireplace, surrounded by period details, antique furniture and original artwork. Large windows and a sliding door with views towards the grounds make this a lovely room to enjoy during the day as well as in the evening.

Bedrooms

Beds are equipped with VI sprung mattresses, toppers and Egyptian cotton sheets for supreme comfort.

Red Bedroom

The principal bedroom has a warm, classic style, with a floral upholstered headboard, white linen and colourful cushions. Traditional wallpaper, full-length curtains and antique furniture reflect the character of the house, while the windows look across the gardens and surrounding countryside.

Butterfly Bedroom

An attractive twin room centred around an original fireplace, with two beds featuring upholstered headboards, white linen and colourful cushions. Antique-style furniture and carefully placed lighting complement the room’s period details and soft colour palette.

Teal Bedroom

Blue tones and patterned fabrics give this bedroom its individual style. The bed is paired with a patterned headboard, white linen and a cosy throw, while an upholstered chair, painted chest of drawers and traditional artwork provide thoughtful finishing touches.

Lilac Bedroom

Soft lavender tones bring a gentle splash of colour to this twin bedroom. Both beds have upholstered headboards and white linen, finished with patterned cushions and coordinating throws. Framed pictures and classic furnishings continue the relaxed country-house style.

Cream Bedroom

The Cream Bedroom has a simple, restful scheme of white, cream and soft green. A large window brings in plenty of daylight, while artwork, understated furniture and a cosy throw keep the room comfortable without feeling overly formal.

Bathrooms

Red Bedroom En-suite

Dark marble-effect tiling gives this en-suite a richer look, balanced by a patterned blind and decorative mirror. There is a large walk-in rainfall shower, WC and vanity unit, with a window offering views across the garden.

Butterfly Bedroom En-suite

This garden-facing en-suite has a softer, neutral scheme, with pale stone-effect tiling and a checked window blind. A walk-in shower, WC and vanity unit provide everything needed, with framed artwork adding a homely finishing touch.

Family Bathroom

The family bathroom offers plenty of room for sharing, with a deep bath beneath the window, a separate shower and double wash basins. Marble-effect finishes sit alongside soft blue walls and garden views, giving the room a fresh and relaxed feel.

Ground Floor Toilet

A handy powder room can be found just off the ground-floor hall.
